Well yeah - all that corn is for feed, not for food! My house beers share cracked corn from the chickens at $0.30/lb. Beers I share with strangers get grits from the bulk-packed store for $0.90/lb.

We grow beautiful tomato plants everywhere at the wastewater plant. Don't think about it on pasta night.

Alright dishwasher manufacturers. If you tell us not to pre-rinse dishes, then either your filter better capture all the food particles, or your sprayer arms need to be disassembleable. This BS of tweezering tomato seeds out of the sprayer arm holes is getting old.

That was my biggest bummer about living in Wyoming. My garden could overcome the lack of rain and terrible soils - but the onslaught of summer hailstorms shredded everything as the fruit was ripening.

As @Miraculix pointed out, the lactose in that recipe is giving you 6-7 FG points alone. Subtracting that out you'd end with 1.015 or so for a FG.

Well, despite the setback of my dog obliterating nearly all the bubble wrap in my house in the two minutes I left her alone, creativity prevailed and we finally have a care package on the way to @bailey mountain brewer .
