The one that is still open.

    Ingredient Price Increases

I'm not as concerned about prices as I am about homebrew supply places closing. I was spoiled with being able to pick grains up after work a few doors down or it only be a 5 minute drive to get some stuff on the weekend. Online is okay for some things, but geez...the shipping.

If you re-use them you'll have something to hand down to the grandkids.

Cold and wet is my favorite type of beer.

    Northern Lights

Local news said that we would be able to see them in north Texas. So far it's been a bit too cloudy. It's also very light polluted. If I have enough to drink tonight, chances are I'll see something.

    Corny Keg Showdown

I used to work for a company that flushed fire hydrants. 'Old' water will gag a maggot. You can't un-smell things.

    Corny Keg Showdown

I kinda had the same question. I would think distilled and purge the oxygen should be good enough.

    Corny Keg Showdown

That's a great idea. I was only using them for emergency (and non-emergency) beer storage. I guess I should have a keg or two of water ready to go.

    Corny Keg Showdown

Uh-greed. The big choice back then was ball lock or pin lock. Many discussions on the pros and cons. Although that dilemma still exists, now we have sub-categories to quibble over.

    Corny Keg Showdown

I've got to admit that I had no idea there were so many brands out there and there would be a following for each. I'm not surprised, I just wasn't aware. My favorite brand is CraigsList. I own several of them.

    Gelatin ?

In your case, it's probably best to keg, chill, then gelatin. It's best to add to cold beer, not beer that's about to get cold. That said, I'm not a fan of clearing in the keg because it can get goopy. If you have the means, adding to the fermenter is ideal.

    bagel hack

I like my bagels made with lots of sugar, deep fried, and topped with glaze and sprinkles. I do-nut remember what they call that variety.
