How to mount temp probe for RIMS system?

It is, of sorts, because location plays heavily into the readings. Can you sketch up a crosssection to show the thermowell and probe position relative to the outlet?

    What are you drinking now?

This Jefferson's Tropics Singapore edition is pretty tasty. Some of the Oceans series voyages have been OK but not particularly special. I think this one is above average.

What did I cook this weekend.....

Not this weekend and not next weekend but one not far down the road it's going to be dry aged ribeyes. Just learned a restaurant up the road sells their in-house dry aged beef in raw form for takeout, so to speak. USDA prime grade, 30-45 day dry aged, two 16oz ribeyes for $36. Dunno about...

Poll: Do you have, or plan to get, an electric car?

Seems I read something a while back that some automakers were either going to start charging at some point for your remote start et al to keep working, or accept their connected vehicle agreement allowing them to track your vehicle/data in exchange for functionality. I have not followed up to...

What came in the mail for you today?

Four new Mopar TPMS sensors for the 2nd set of wheels for the Jeep. I try to buy local, but for $80 difference in cost I ordered. Arrived earlier than expected, even.

    overcarbonation

Nothing quite that dramatic but once dropped a can of Coke while stocking the fridge. Not sure what it hit on the way down but ended up with a small puncture that managed to spray fridge, me, wall, and ceiling. Certainly not the amount in the video nor a 5gal keg, but still a mess to clean.

Gardening 2024 - Whatcha got going on this year?

I wish our asparagus would take off like that. Fortunately, fair bit of wild asparagus for the picking in road ditches and such.

    Boil problems

Aruguably an 8-3 or 6-3 or 2-3 et al would all be even "better" yet, albeit a big cost for negligible difference. 14ga as he has isn't the problem at his length and current.

Poll: Do you have, or plan to get, an electric car?

That looks impressive, but it appears to be Tesla vs everything else. It's not really apples to apples with the point of LIDAR systems vs [visual] camera systems. I'm not a great statistical guy but for sure I'm always doing the "Hmmm" thing when data is presented that shows such a lopsided...

New grill to augment others---gasser or Blackstone griddle?

Contrary to some opinion but congruent with and recommended by others, I used flax seed oil on a somewhat recent cast iron strip and season. Flax seed oil has a low smoke point but laid down what seems to be very good seasoning. Gotta get the pure stuff and it's not inexpensive (and pretty...

    Northern Lights

Not too much around here last night either. But, I did find a couple better dark places whilst out on Midnight patrol.
