    when and how to use beano?

    My brew partner and I love brut IPAs. We mash low 140s and add 1 pack to the fermenter when yeast is pitched. We use 1 pack of glucoamylase per 5-6 gallons of wort. This gives us a FG near 1.00.

    Odd man out here; favorite style is a brut. Absolutely love the dryness and pucker effect they give. Although, I also make a wicked nasty high ABV bourbon stout.

    If you have ever been awake at 2 am wondering what 10.5 gallons of brut rye in 12, 16, 20, 22 ounce bottles would look like!!!! Wonder no more. Lol 😂

    I’ve used the Brewer’s Best extract with mixed results. Their pineapple in a citrus forward IPA is excellent. The strawberry goes from not flavorful enough to tasting like medicine.     This was to be an M43 strawberry IPA clone. I’m now calling it Strawberry Gremlin IPA. List of problems I experienced with this batch is, well, not worth typing. All in all, it’s finally bottled and tastes ok. Hoping the next batch goes like normal. 🍻
